Today I had a fun visit with Portia. We painted shades with a holiday design for her kitchen chandelier and had a great time creating this design.

The holiday season is upon us.  I would like to invite you to join us at Clemmons Moravian Church on Saturday, November 12 for their Holiday Bazaar. The hours are 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

We will have a booth with all kinds of painted items for decorating and giving. Also there will be knits and other textiles available for purchase. In addition, I will be doing facepainting with our vegetable-based cosmetic paints.

Please join us there for a fun time and to get some of that shopping completed.

At Casanova's on Saturday: a chilly day but warm feelings as we painted wraps for LED candles. Most people painted more than one wrap for their candles, some seasonal, some not. Makes the candle a yearround decoration.

The project for the One Stroke class at Casanova's On Oct. 29 is an LED candle with a wax coating. The poinsettia is the front view and the holly is a side view.

Oh, such a beautiful fall day to paint! Our class at Westbend Vineyards on Oct. 23 was a lot of fun and produced some beautiful pumpkin door hangers.

Let's Paint Pumpkins! project

This is similar to the project we will paint in the Let's Paint Pumpkins class at Westbend Vineyard on Oct. 23. Saturday, Sept. 24: Black Walnut Festival in Bethania, NC   9 a.m.-4 p.m.  In addition to selling artwork, glassware, clothing and other gift items, we will be doing facepainting as well.  We will also have knitted, crocheted, and other items available as well. Bethania is a beautiful old town with lots of history. Their website is www.townofbethania.org     A great time to get a jump start on that holiday shopping!!!!

Coming events!

We are scheduling classes for the fall and winter at this time.  There will be holiday projects and gift items included in these classes/workshops. If you and some friends would like to have a fun time, let me know and we can schedule a class anywhere - homes, churches, wineries, other shops; the sky's the limit.

Also I have some paintings for sale. If you see one that interests you, just contact me. My prices are very reasonable. Also if you see other projects/products that you like, let me know.

If there is a custom design/scene/etc., that you want, I can do that too.

Gearing UP!!!

Now that the weather has cooled off (at least a little) and the fall is approaching, let's start gearing up for new painting adventures. After attending a One Stroke workshop this summer, I have all kinds of new ideas for us to pursue. Holiday planning is also "afoot". Let me know of your interest and ideas. New classes will be scheduled soon!

Today was so much fun!  I painted with a Red Hat group.  We did glassware (wineglasses, dishes, etc.) using a daisy or a grape design.  It was great to meet so many new people and share a painting session.
Thanks also for a lovely lunch.

Just returned from Orlando convention where I learned so many new techniques and projects.  I can't wait to share them with you.  New classes are starting soon.  We are also planning some holiday workshops in the fall.  The classes will be longer and we will complete multiple projects.

One workshop will be for fall (Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc.) and another will be for the holidays (Christmas, winter, New Year's)/

I also learned some facepainting techniques using a cosmetic paints.  Just wait until you see some of those designs! Perfect for parties, both adult and chilren.
